Gutter guards

Gutter Guards

The role that gutters plays in protecting the foundation of a home or business is an important one. When properly installed they direct that water to areas that keep your property safe. Spots where that water won’t wear away your landscaping or erode your foundation or landscaping. Just having quality gutters isn’t enough. It is also important to keep them clear of debris like sticks and leaves so that they do not become clogged and overflow whenever it rains. One solution to this is regular cleaning of your gutters by hand. This can be dangerous as it involves repeatedly climbing and standing on ladders. A great solution to avoid hours of cleaning each year and a great way to ensure your gutters always work properly is installing gutter guards.

What are gutter guards?

Gutter guards are accessory systems for your gutters that keep your downspouts and runs from getting clogged. A clogged gutter will eventually overflow and lead to water being in areas of your property where it can cause costly damage. Some gutter protection sits inside of the gutters, but at Pro, we prefer gutter guard systems that attach to the top of the gutter. Gutter protection that rests on top, like grates and filters, creates a stronger and more secure level of protection. Our pro grade gutter guards are installed under the drip edge and fastened to the outer edge of the gutters. Creating a strong and lasting barrier for your gutters that will keep them free of leaves, sticks, and other debris.

Gutter Grates

Gutter grates are created from strips of durable metal. This metal has many small slots throughout middle which allow water to flow freely into the gutter below. The slots are small enough to keep large pieces of debris from slipping into the gutter, however, some smaller pieces may slip through.

Gutter Filter

The best type of gutter guards available. These systems consist of long strips of metal that house a fine medical grade steel mesh that rests on top of a supportive metal grid. The metal grid works to keep the mesh in place and from getting damaged by larger pieces of debris. The fine mesh does an unmatched job of keeping everything but water out of your gutters.

What makes pro grade gutters different?

With our Pro Grade gutter guard and seamless gutter systems, we work with the best local gutter crews and train them so that they experts in the materials we use. This is why we can guarantee a quality and long lasting product.

We have chosen a terpolymer sealant that can withstand both cold and hot temperatures. We then use this sealant to secure fastener points, miters, end caps, and downspout entries.

Finally, we secure the gutters to your home or business with special forever hangers. These hangers go in at an angle and are so strong that they can withstand the extra weight of a full grown adult hanging from the gutters. Though we don’t suggest you climb up there and start swinging around!

What to expect during installation

Our gutter experts will arrive at your business or home with all the tools and materials needed to complete the job. So there will be no need for a material delivery taking up space on your property for days leading up to the gutter install.

If our crew is only installing gutter guards, then they will begin by cleaning and measuring your current gutters. After which they will cut and fasten the gutter protection to ensure the best results.

If you are also getting new gutters then the crew will measure and cut the gutter runs on site to make sure they fit the exact dimensions of your home or business. This will take place before the gutter grates or filters are installed.

Before leaving we will ensure the area around your property is completely free of debris.
