Before Install: Full Gutter Inspection
Your gutters should go through a full inspection before any work is done or agreed on. One of our Pro experts will judge the state of your current gutters to ensure it makes sense to install gutter protection without replacing the entire gutter system first.
The goal of an inspection is to give a fair and accurate estimate of your gutter needs. All costs and needs will be included in the estimate. This way the full cost of the job can be in the quote.
5 Phases of Gutter Guard Installation

Phase 1: Cleaning Out The Gutters
Once you have picked Pro as your gutter contractor, we will set a start date. On that date, our crew will arrive at your home with all the tools and materials needed to complete the installation. First, they will bring out their ladders and begin making sure that your gutters and downspouts are completely free of debris. There is no sense in putting gutter protection over gutters that are currently clogged! This is also when a secondary inspection will take place to ensure there are no gaps in your gutter runs. They may use sealant during this time to reinforce areas where it is needed.

Phase 2: Measuring the Gutter Runs
After the gutters have been cleared out, our gutter experts will begin measuring your gutter system. These measurements will be used to get the gutter protection ready for install. Each section will be measured by hand from one end to the other and double-checked as to avoid any mistakes. They will also measure the angles of any corners so that no gaps exist where two pieces of gutter guards come together.

Phase 3: Measuring and Cutting the Gutter Protection
Using the measurements they gathered in the previous phase our installers will lay out the strips of gutter guards and cut them to size. Again the goal is to avoid any gaps in coverage so no unwanted materials get into your gutters. The last thing we want is having to remove the gutter guards in order to clear out a blockage!

Phase 4: Install The Gutter Protection
With all the gutter guards measured and cut it will be time to install them on your gutter system. At Pro, we use two kinds of gutter protection, screens, and covers. All of these are what the industry refers to as on-top gutter protection and all are installed in a similar fashion. This type of gutter protection sits on top of your gutters and lets the water flow through while working to keep debris out. The gutter experts will place each section onto your gutters and then use metal screws to secure them to the edge of your gutters. Making sure that the inner edge that meets your roof rests underneath your drip edge.

Phase 5: Cleanup
With the gutter guards secured to your gutters, our installers will begin cleaning up the area around your home. They will ensure no excess materials are left behind. The goal is to leave your property looking look there never was a crew working on your home.
