Thomas wanted to breathe some new life into his Eastpointe home by upgrading the windows and a patio door. This project would increase curb appeal and resale value and help close up any drafts around the older window frames. The thing was, though, that Thomas didn’t want to replace the siding or have to deal with siding repairs due to damage during the removal and installation of his new windows. Thankfully, Thomas called Pro Home Improvement and our window expert, Paul, assured him that our crew would handle his project with the utmost care and respect for his home and property.
Thomas chose white windows with white trim so it would complement his current siding. In total, the project would involve replacing ten windows and one patio door on the two-story home. A majority of the project’s windows were double-hung, with one slider used in the master bedroom. The patio door was installed just off the kitchen, giving quick access to their large back yard.
When the crew first arrived at the home, their first priority was protecting the home, property, and especially the siding for the project ahead. They delicately removed the siding and trim from around the windows, taking care not to damage any of the pieces. They also laid down tarps to ensure no damage occurred to the landscaping around the home and the floors inside. With the home adequately prepped, they removed the old windows, built out the frames to fit the replacements, and installed the new double-pane vinyl windows and trim. The final touch was replacing the siding around the windows.
By upgrading to our Pro Grade Double-Pane windows, Thomas now has fully upgraded his home’s aesthetic, security, and energy efficiency, with a product guaranteed to last decades!
