Before Install – Full Inspection
Before an install can be properly planned it is important for the contractor to get a good idea of what all your project will entail. This is why a full window inspection is a vital part of a properly handled install. During the inspection, the contractor will check not only your windows themselves, but the frames and areas around the windows as well. The more thorough the inspection the more accurate the quote for the work required will be.
6 Phases of Window Installation

Phase 1 – Prepping The Site For Removal
Our window experts will lay tarps inside and outside your house to collect all the debris from the installation process. In the first stage, the crew will remove the existing windows in your household. At the same time, the team will work to keep the exterior and interior of your house intact, during the removal process.

Phase 2 – Checking For Hidden Damage
If they notice that the areas around your current windows were damaged due to water, they will remove and replace those materials immediately. When the frames come in prolonged contact with water, they lose their functionality. Mold starts growing on them, affecting the structure and the health of the occupants in your house negatively. Also, there is a very high chance for the rot to spread to areas surrounding the windows.

Phase 3 – Installing Your New Windows
The professionals will proceed to install the new sashes and dual- or triple-pane windows, securing them firmly in the frame. By applying a special sealant, they will insulate all the spaces which exist between the window frame. The purpose of the sealant is to prevent drafts from entering the household.

Phase 4 – Exterior Flashing & Trim
After complete and careful injection of the special coating, our window experts will start installing the exterior flashing and trim. Each piece will be custom fabricated on site to beautifully fit around your new windows, giving a clean and professional finish to the frames.

Phase 5 – Weather-Proofing The Frame
One of the main functionalities of the window is to protect your household against the elements of nature. Due to this reason, the professional installation company will apply special sealants on the interior and exterior of the windows. These sealants will create a weather and thermal barrier that will protect your home from for decades.

Phase 6 – Cleaning The Work Area
After proper installation of the windows, the professionals will ensure that the surrounding space is free of debris.
